Jack Byron Scott, 90, of Casper, Wyoming passed away on August 30, 2020,at his home in Phoenix, Arizona.
Jack was born in Casper, Wyoming to Harry H, Scott and Katherine Westbrook on March 10, 1930. Jack attended Natrona County High School, until he enlisted in the Navy. After his tour of duty, he completed his high school education, He worked for several years in the Oil Field Supply Companies before joining the Casper Fire Department, and served for 27 years, retiring as a Captain, jack enjoyed traveling, boating and camping with his family.
Jack is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sara Lee, sons Jimmy (Patty), Scott (Cindy) Mike and Jim. Grandchildren Michael Scott, Aleisha Wikked, James Scott (Ryan), Kristi Rae, Kody Hawes, Nicholas Hawes (Amanda), Christopher Hawes, Jason Hawes (Emily), and Courtney. He had nine Great Grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his Parents, his Brother Bob, his Daughter Janet Kay, and Grandson Sean Hawes. his Brother-in-Law Bill Scott and Sister-in-Law Sandra Reynolds,
Funeral Services will be held at Bustard Funeral Home on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Frank and Sue Webb officiating, Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Casper. A reception will be held at Bustard & Jacoby Reception Center following the Burial Service.
Memorial donations may be made to Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care, 120 N. 44th Street, Suite 150, Phoenix, Arizona 85034 or Dementia/Alzheimers Association.
Jack loved Wyoming and often spoke of his friends in Casper, but really didn't care for the cold and snow of winter, so found a home in Phoenix, Arizona and made many friends there and loved the heat,
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Compassus Hospice for the loving care and friendship given to Jack.
