Irene Daisy Palmer was born in Stuart, Nebraska to Lloyd & Daisy Stewart. At age 5, the family moved to Glenrock, Wyoming. She was married on August 25, 1956 to David V. Palmer in Casper, WY. They moved around between Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming due to David's work. In 1984 they bought Moneta services and ran it until a fire closed it down in 1986. She had worked as a waitress, cook and at Target but retired due to heart condition. She loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed flowers, Bingo and Bull/Horse racing. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Loyd Lee, infant daughter, her parents, and brothers Harold, Ralph, Jim, George, Frank and Ron, who was killed in Vietnam. She is survived by husband, David V. Palmer, her son, Troy A. Palmer and grandchildren, Alexis and Richie. She is also survived by her sisters Leona (Cook), Donna, and Doris, also brothers, Jack, Rex, Jeff and lots of family and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Community Baptist Church Glenrock, Wyoming, 302 South 2nd Street. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to donate to Central Wyoming Hospice Program.
