Funeral services for Ilene Marie Saint, 74, will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2012 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Ilene passed away peacefully on March 1, 2012 at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital with her family present. She was born June 28, 1937 to Admiral Dewey and Nora Opal Honse in Norvelt, PA. Ilene married the love of her life, Edward T. Saint Jr., on February 27, 1957 in Hagerstown, Maryland. They moved to Illinois where her three children were born. Having traveled the western United States, they fell in love with the mountainous regions of Wyoming. They moved to Casper in 1971 where Ilene worked in the commercial loan department at 1st National Bank as well as various secretarial jobs. During those years, the entire Saint clan could be found gathered at her table for Sunday dinner. Her greatest joy was her family. It brought her great pleasure to lovingly create handmade gifts for the people most dear to her. In 1989, Ed and Ilene moved to Grand Prairie, TX where she worked as a Legal Secretary at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Ilene was a planner. By the end of July, the Christmas gifts were already wrapped and stashed. She would spend the entire year planning for those 2 weeks in summer when her children and grandchildren would come to visit. Those 2 weeks would be packed full of good food, games and much laughter. Teasing came naturally to this great grandma who loved to sing and play. Following the death of her beloved husband in 2006, Ilene came back to Wyoming to be nearer her loved ones. Ilene was most known for her caring and kindness as well as an incredibly ornery sense of humor. Ilene is survived by her son Jeffrey Wayne Saint of CMCH, NJ, her two daughters Linda Saint Grenier (Dale) of Worland, WY, and Dawn Laurene Sabec (Ken) of Casper, WY: her brothers Edwin Honse of United, PA, Charles Honse, Ijansville, MD: sisters Darlene Zalick of Mt. Pleasant, PA and Betty McCun-e of Polk, OH: six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, great-granddaughter Alexis Turner, her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
