Ida and Stan Baldwin were married on February 9, 1976. After a brief illness Stan passed away on November 13, 2014, at age 81. During the last seven years of his life he was the primary caregiver for Ida, who suffered from Alzheimer's. On March 13, 2016 at age 80, Ida passed away peacefully with family by her side. Stan was born September 3, 1933 and was raised around Mullen, Nebraska. He had two siblings and is survived by his sister, Beverly Jones of Jackson Hole, WY. His brother Jerry preceded him in death. Stan played high school football and went on to serve in the U. S. Army. After service to his country, he moved to Casper, Wyoming, where he worked as a finish carpenter for many years and later at NATCO. Ida was born June 7, 1935 and was raised around Malta, Montana. She had eight siblings and is survived by brother Roy of Cloverdale, Oregon and sister Velma of Roseburg, Oregon. Preceding her in death were brothers; Ervin; Orville; Jess and sisters Virgie; Sylvia; and Alene. As a child growing up, she loved to run through the fields of Montana and ride horses. After Ida married and while raising her family, her husband's work in the oil field required them to relocate their home often around the United States. In 1970, she and her family moved to Mills, Wyoming. She worked for Pioneer Market, Buttery's and Safeway from which she retired. Stan and Ida are survived by their four children, David Baldwin of Blue Springs, MO, Lorna Morton of Firestone, CO, Loren Colpitts of Evansville, WY, and Randy Colpitts of Casper, WY, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Stan enjoyed hunting, watching football and the weather channel, and tinkering in his garage. Ida enjoyed caring for her family and home, sewing and listening to country music. Together they loved to garden, cook and visit with family and friends Both Ida and Stan are greatly missed by those who loved them. A memorial service will be held at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 80 Veterans Road, Evansville, WY.
