Howard Hein

Howard Sims Hein died at home from complications of pneumonia on 30 December 2018. He was born in Casper, Wyoming on 3 August 1936 to Alvin and Katherine Hein. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1954. Howard served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Central Atlantic States. He graduated from Casper College. Howard married Margaret Hiatt in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1959. Howard was a State Farm Insurance agent for 39 years. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When his eyesight began to fail, Howard became involved in the Wyoming Council of the Blind and Low Vision Support Group. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Margaret and daughters Amy (Peter) Toft , and Kerri (Marty) Roszel, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, one sister, one brother and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday January 4 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the corner of Seventh and Missouri Streets. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, from 5 to 7 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home, 600 CY Avenue and Friday, January 4, from 9 until 9:45 AM prior to funeral services at the church. Interment at Highland Cemetery will follow. Flowers or donations to the Casper Area Low Vision Support Group, 1461 South Illinois, Casper, WY 82609, will be equally appreciated.
