Herman Louis Johnson was a kindhearted, spitfire of a man. He was born on July 22, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to Eva Louise (Widdon) and Herman Johnson. After he served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he was a prison guard in Huntsville, TX. This is where he met his wife of 21 years, R. Carol Johnson. He was a member of the Eagles Club for a short period of time. He loved to read, go hunting/fishing, and watch TV. He is survived by his children, Recie N. (Adam R.) Voight-Johnson, Randy R. (Shari C. Voight) Voight II, Callie M. Voight-Johnson, Adina J. Voight-Johnson, Crystal E Stauss, Lydia L. (Andrew J. Rodriguez) Johnson-Rodriguez, Robert (Angela) Johnson, and Angel (Casey) Scott. His brothers, Larry, Edgar, and Mitch Johnson, along with his sister Lydia Larkin will miss him. Same with his grandkids, Randy-Daniel E.H. Scott, Ameryka A.R. Voight, Cynthia Lagasse Cunningham, Lillian L. Voight, Alleria A. Voight, Galateia G. Voight, Chole Johnson, and Christopher Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jannet Brady and Helen M. Crawson; brothers, Curtis and Pierce Johnson; and grandchildren, Angel M. Scott and Little Louis Voyzey.
