Henry Homann

Henry Carl William Homann 1937 to 2018 Henry was with his family when he passed away on November 11, 2018 at the age of 81 at Central Wyoming Hospice of Casper, Wy. Henry was born October 2, 1937 to Henry Homann and Esther Nelson in Lansford, North Dakota. He went to school in Mohall, North Dakota and enlisted the Marine Corp in 1956 and honorably discharged in 1959. After which his family moved to Denver, Colorado where he met and married Jean Whitford on September 22, 1962. Henry was in parts most of his life with Chevrolet and GMC. Prior to that he worked for Caterpillar for 16 years and was also in parts there. Henry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Henry and Jean had two children Michael and Sandra both of Casper. The family had many hobbies and interests through the years. He loved to travel, go snowmobiling, ride ATV's, go boating and fishing, he loved the mountains and camping. They enjoyed a cabin they built on Casper Mountain for 17 years while they raised their family. Later years Henry loved to play pool and cards and enjoyed his clubs which he was a member of: Elks, Eagles, Moose, American Legion and VFW. He was preceded in death by both his parents, a brother Harvey Homann of Oklahoma and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife Jean and their 2 children: Son Michael and his wife Deidra Homann and their daughter Nicole and their two children Skyla and Carsyn. Daughter Sandra and her husband Clint and their two sons, Jacob of Story, Wyoming and James of Casper, Wyoming. A tribute to Henry will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. and a procession for the family by the Local Pony Express at the VFW at 1800 Bryan Stock Trail Casper, Wy. Memorials and donations can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions at 319 S. Wilson Casper, Wyoming 82601.
