Henry Bolger was born September 19, 1924 to John Bolger and Katherine Ernst Bolger at Chadron, NE. He grew up on farms near Torrington, WY and Minatare, NE. He died peacefully at his home in Casper, WY, on December 18,2013. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1954. He had been an Elder and in his working years assisted in maintenance of the facility. Henry was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 322 for 51 years, having joined in October of 1962. When he was young, he earned money to help the family in many ways, such as trapping furs, working on a custom combining crew and working at a sugar beet factory. As an adult, he became a miner, working in coal, silver, gold and lead mines. After moving to Casper he worked at Standard Refinery and later became a Master Electrician. He was Foreman and General Foreman for numerous contractors throughout the west until his retirement in 1986. His strong work ethic earned him the nickname "Hammerin' Henry Hank". In 1948 he married Pauline Reichert. She passed away in 1994. To this union, five children were born: Karen Chmura (Chris), Nancy Stolpman (Frank), Kathy Sasser (Stephen), David Bolger and Linda Paschke. In his early years, he loved to explore Wyoming, hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed raising flowers, traveling, and following the latest news. In 1999, he was married to Clarice Grant. He is survived by his wife, Clarice, his five children, six step-children, Joan Grant (Reinhard), Jean Sanders (Joe), Joyce Peterson (Mark), Robert Grant (Kristi), Susan Clark (Darren), and Nancy Moriarty (Todd), as well as his grandchildren: Monika Com, Olivia Ponzin, Rebekah Lyons, and Victor Chmura, Kelly Stolpman, Alyson Hyslop, Natalie Keating Stolpman, David Moore, Amanda Branon, Colton Sasser, Joa Sasser, Luke Sasser, Zack Bolger, Max Bolger, Will Hey, Rachel Myers, and Hannah Paschke. Also step-grandchildren: Daniel and Sydney Weiser, Benjamin and Isabella Yeffeth, Catherine Sanders, Anders, Lars and Nils Peterson, Bryce and Kalyn Clark, Matthew and Ian Moriary, and 13 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, brother John, sisters Betty, Caroline, Kay, Mary, first wife, Pauline Reichert Bolger and a great- grandson, Brooks Corn. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday December 26 at Bustards Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday December 27, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, any memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
