Funeral services for Helen Alice (Snyder) Patton, 93, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on May 22 at Liberty Baptist Church by Rev. Bruce Sell. Burial will be in the Oregon Trail State Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on May 21 at Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory. She died May 18, 2014 at Poplar Living Center in Casper. The daughter of Fred and Alice (Kreps) Snyder, she was born in Powell, Wyoming on November 23, 1920. She graduated from Powell high school in 1939. She married Perry A. Patton on March 7, 1940 in Powell. He preceded her in death in 2003. While her husband was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII, she was employed by JCPenney in Casper. She enjoyed flowers, music, and was a devoted member of her church. Surviving are two sons, Perry (Mona) Patton and Donald (Joni) Patton of Colorado, granddaughter, Yvonne Escobosa and great grandson, Dalton, of California, brother-in- law, Kenneth Patton of Casper, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Perry, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 1203 S. Oak.
