Helen Hancock, 85, of Casper, passed away February 4, 2016, at Central Wyoming Hospice. She was the only child of Anise and Will Brown of Torrington, WY. As a young lady, Helen headed west on a ‘great adventure' only to make it as far as Casper when her car broke down. She met Bill Hancock and they married in 1953. To this union, their only child, David, was born in 1958. Helen worked various jobs during her life - eventually owning War Surplus for 51 years until her retirement. Preceding Helen in death were her parents, David (2008), and Bill (2009). She leaves behind three step-daughters, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, as well as many dear friends. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held per Helen's request.
