On Thursday, September 6, Harry H. Pringle died peacefully at Central WY Hospice after a six-month battle with cancer. He was born to Stephen Guy and Katherine Pringle on January 22, 1929 and was the youngest of five children. Harry was raised in Casper and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1947. In 1949, Harry met the love of his life, Barbara Lee Hawkins, and they were married on August 13, 1950. He was a member of Wyoming National Guard for nine years and worked for Mobil Oil beginning in 1949. In 1965, Harry was transferred by Mobil to the Republic of Singapore where he and his family lived for eight years. During that time, the family traveled to many other countries, returning to Casper in 1973. In 1973, Harry left Mobil Oil and went to work for Sinclair Oil Refinery, retiring in 1995. Inspired by his love of driving, Harry later took a part-time retirement job at Coach America as a railroad crew transport driver, finally retiring in 2012. Harry loved to travel, work on church projects with his buddies and was a member of both Winter Memorial Presbyterian and First Presbyterian Churches, and had a fond interest in mechanics and engineering. Home maintenance projects were always a humorous adventure with Harry and were a family affair. He had a great sense of humor and dearly loved his family. Harry is survived by his sisters Eileen Kuster (The Woodlands, TX) and Margaret Lytle (Casper, WY); Son Stephen Charles Pringle (Linda) of Bozeman, MT; and daughter Patty Hines (Gary) of Casper, WY. He is also survived by three grandchildren Stephanie Delong (Robbie) of Winfield, KS; Christopher Hines and Jennifer Hines of Casper, WY and two great-granddaughters Emma and Rylee Delong, as well as other extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, his wife, Barbara, and son, Danny Pringle. Memorial services will be held at First Presbyterian Church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24th, to be immediately followed by graveside service at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Harry's name to Central WY Hospice and First Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be left at Bustard's Funeral Home.
