Long time Casper Mt resident Happy Younger left this earth on Sat, Nov 7 with her loving husband at her side.

Happy lived a full and colorful life, succeeding in a variety of careers. In 1974, following in her father's footsteps she became the owner/operator of a Kenworth primarily hauling cattle for many years. Driving was her great passion and she was one of the best.

The mountains were in Hap's soul, a pure natural on horseback led her to manage cattle ranches and pack hunters at outfitting camps across the Rockies. She never turned down the opportunity to break and train horses for her Grandfather A.K. whom she idolized.

In 1990, her long time dream came true when the cabin on Casper Mountain was built with her husband Jess Cantrell and help from many good friends.

Christmas was Happy's favorite time and her door was open to all. Hot buttered rum, homemade candy plus rowdy songs played on the organ were tradition.

Upon retirement from the trucking industry, the couple divided their time between their winter home in New Mexico and Casper Mt. Hap enjoyed 4 wheeling under a full moon or walking the mountain with her beloved German Shepherd Cole.

This great woman was strong willed, stubborn, tough as they come, with an unforgettable laugh. A little lady with a huge personality that will be missed by many.

Forever remembered by her husband and best friend Jess Cantrell, daughters Lou (Tony) Kiser & Tonya Younger. Sisters Judy Ann Fender and Joy Wilhelm. Nieces Leisl (Ron) Sanders, Melody (Craig) Nottage and nephew Rodney (Nyla) Wilhelm.

Welcoming Happy on the other side: Parents Carlene Keefer, Hilly Fender, Grandfather A.K. Fender.  Faithful companion Cole.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
