Gregory Holden

Services for Mr. Gregory Thomas Hurst Holden, will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Bustard's and from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Bustard's. Interment will be in Oklahoma. Gregory died on November 28, 2010 at his home. He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on November 24, 1959. He graduated from NCHS in 1978. On September 8, 1983 he married Sharon Jones in front of family and friends. Together they raised nine beautiful children, but Greg's family was never limited by blood. He was a father and friend to more people than can be counted. Always the avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the outdoors almost as much as he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sharon, his mother, Judy Holden of Tulsa, OK, his father, Tom Hurst of Stillwater, OK, his brothers, Randy Holden of Fort Smith, AR, and Thomas Hurst of Stillwater, OK. Also surviving are his four daughters, Betsy (Joe) Bowlsby, Debbie (John) Williams, Melissa (Chris) Eckman and Missy Sullivan, his five sons, Craig (Billie), Shawn (Gina), David (Becky), Keith (Alisha) and Erick Holden all of Casper, 23 grandchildren, as well as a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen, both maternal and paternal grandparents and one granddaughter, Ashlea. He Remains He is with us till the end. Even if he is gone we have his memories. Remember him for the man who cared and loved. Everyone loves him and always will. Memories will always last forever. A loved one died, what can I say? It couldn't change, it was the way. Never forget the dad, son, Bumpa, brother, uncle and husband.
