Grace Quintana, 88, of Casper passed away April 12, 2014 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, WY. Grace was born one of 11 children to Irenio and Josie (Rivera) Mora on April 29, 1925 in Mora, New Mexico. Her family then moved to Casper, WY where she graduated from Natrona County High School. Grace married her loving husband, Jim Quintana on February 27, 1954. Grace was the very proud, loving mother or two children, Jerry Quintana and Gloria LaVancha. She was a very active member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, as well as the Eagles Club. Mrs. Quintana worked as a Pantry Chef, and no doubt knew her way around the kitchen. She enjoyed nothing more than her cherished time with her family which grew to include 4 Granddaughters; Gina (Gary) Colaw, of Casper, WY, Lisa Quintana of Deming, NM, Chrystal Simpson, and Monica Patro, both of Casper, WY, 2 Grandsons; Julio Trout of Casper, WY, and Jacob Trout of Portland, OR, as well as 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandsons. She is also survived by her brother; Tom Mora, sisters; Pat (Art) Madsen, Jenny (Dave) Kamber, Dilly (Joe) Pacheco, Lilly (Triry) Mora, Alice Kane, and Linda Renteria. Grace was preceded in death by her mother and father as well as her brothers Frank Mora, Ray Mora, and Orville Mora. All through her life Grace collected angels and anything to do with angels. She built quite a large collection of angels and now as we say a teary good bye we can take comfort in knowing that she is now our angel in heaven. Memorial services for Mrs. Quintana will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Bustard's Funeral Home with Father Robert Fox of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiating. Memorial contributions in in Grace's honor to Central Wyoming Hospice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
