Gordon G. (Jerry) Carlson, Master Sergeant USMC retired, passed in his sleep on May 14, 2017 to be with his Lord and Savior. He was 75. He is survived by Cecile, his wife of 55 years, his daughter Robin, and sons Larry, Bob, and Dan. He also had 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who are greatly saddened by his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Oke Carlson. As a United States Marine, he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, deployed aboard the USS Mount Whitney, and spent several tours overseas, including twice in Vietnam. Viewing will be Sunday, May 21st from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M. at Bustard's Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday May 22, 2017 at Bustard's Funeral Home, with Reverend Jeff Matney officiating. Interment will be at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, with military honors accorded by the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard and the Natrona County United Veterans Council. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
