Goldie Hernandez

Goldie Marie Hernandez, passed away on August 5, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. Goldie was born March 12, 1938 in Midwest, Wyoming to Bud and Caroline Clapp. She was born into a ranching family and enjoyed riding her horses and the ranching way of life. Soon after high school she married James Burch with whom she raised five children, (they later divorced). Goldie enjoyed making various crafts and embroidering. She had a green thumb and her house was full of beautiful house plants. She also enjoyed her flower garden and entering her flowers in the fair. Goldie moved to Colorado and remarried. After spending several years in Colorado, she moved back to Wyoming, where she enjoyed family get togethers and holidays. She loved going for rides up the mountain and Wyoming wildlife. Goldie and her sparkling blue eyes will be missed by all who knew her. A family celebration of life was held and services are pending at this time. Goldie is survived by son, Bill Burch; three daughters, Debbie (Joe) Martinez, Becky Raney, and Kelly (Justin) Lesser; five grandsons Mike, Keven, Jason, Kyle Martinez and Jacob Lesser; granddaughter, Melissa Lesser; great grandsons, Camden and Evan Martinez; one brother, Lynn (Margaret) Clapp; nephews, Raymond and Sheldon (Georgia) Taylor; nieces, Karen (Lenny) Axel, Tracy Tolbert and Renae Mead and families; stepson, Joe (Andrea) Hernandez; stepdaughter , Janeen (Brandon) Gehrer and families; stepsister, Pamela Beauer and half-sister Harriet (Rodger) Berger of West Plains, Missouri; half-brothers, Kenneth (Shawna) Clapp and Robert (Leah) Clapp of Caulfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Patricia Page and son, Jim Burch. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in memory of Goldie would be appreciated.
