Glory Walkin

Glory Walkin became an angel at age 59 on April 13, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Glory was born in Casper, Wyo April 7, 1960. Her parents were Eva and Cecil Walkin. Her parents soon divorced and her family moved around the United States. Wyoming called them home. Wyoming was home until she moved her family to Las Vegas, NV in 1986. There she worked at Pink Flamingo at Ethel M Chocolates. In June 1990 she moved her family to Casper, WY. She went back to school at Casper College and recieved a degree in Accounting. After graduating she went to work at Black Hills Trucking. In the late 1990's, Glory went back to school to work on a different path in life. Glory wanted to help better people. She graduated with many degrees, but her focus was counciling and drug addiction. While she was in school she was a volunteer advocate for the Self Help Center. After she graduated she started working at the Self Help Center full time. During this time she was known as "The Bull Dog" and/or "The Angel". Glory soon wanted to focus on her drug addiction degree. She soon started working for Prarie Institute. She retired in 2015. She said that retirement was a blessing so the could spend more time with her children and her grandchildren. Glory was known for many things. The first and most important is she had a heart of gold. She wore her heart on her sleeve. Glory helped as many people as she could. Her smile was brightening and her laugh contagous. She was also known to be a big family person. Her children and her grandchildren were everything to her. Her family came first and fore most. Glory enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, traveling, panning for gold, sight seeing, and being with her family and friends. Proceded in death by: Her parent's Eva Garland(Knighten), Cecil and Maurine(step mom) Walkin, her brother Sonny Howard, grandson Evan Dalton and along with numerous Aunt's, Uncle's and Cousin's. Survivors are: Her oldest Sister Rhonda Gilbert Walkin- Brownwood, Texas. Martha (daughter) and Tina Walkin, Steven (son) and Lisa Walkin, Cassandra (daugter) and Troy Dalton, Colton Walkin (son) all from Casper, Wyo. Grandchildren- Kirsten Smith, Aaron Smith, Kathrine Dalton, and Jazmine (unborn) Dalton - all from Casper, Wyo. Numerous Aunt's, Uncle's and cousin's.
