She was born June 26, 1928 in Oakland California, the daughter of Portuguese immigrants. At the age of 16, Gloria was working in a movie theater in Oakland when she met a US Marine from Wyoming. They married December 20, 1944 and remained inseparable since. Her husband and children were always her priority and she would do anything for them. In 1952 they moved to Casper Wyoming to raise their family in a more suitable atmosphere. Being a city girl, Wyoming was a strange place to be. She adapted and learned to hunt and fish but preferred to leave that to the boys. She loved the animals of Wyoming and her pets. She was always seen sitting in her chair with a dog curled around her while the birds and squirrels awaited being fed outside. Gloria worked many jobs and many hours, most notably Baily School Supply and WOTCO. After retirement, she and her husband spent almost everyday at the Kmart Breakfast Club, walks at the mall and a very special trip to Atlanta. She is survived by and sadly missed by her husband James of Casper, Carol Sisco-Kinnan of Casper, Dr. Shirley Tastad, Cherry Log, Georgia, James Sisco 111 of Guam and Felicia Sisco Casper, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces and her very dear friend and caretaker, Mary Marquez of Casper. She is also survived by all the little creatures awaiting some seed or a few peanuts. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and a sister of Oakland as well as sisters and a brother of Portugal.
