Quote from Jerry Lewis: "Jerry is dead, get over it and move on!" but the family would like you to know: Jerry was born August 23, 1937 to Fred and Adelyn Lewis in Casper, WY. He passed away after a long illness November 1st at home surrounded by his loving family. Jerry married Ronnie (Susie) Sue Balch April 27, 1957. Together they had five children; Julie Raines (Bobby) of Casper, WY; Christine Nelms of Littleton, CO; Ray Lewis (Joni) of Dickinson, TX; Ron Lewis (Cedora) of Casper, WY; and Melanie Meyers of Casper, WY. They were then blessed with eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and of course twelve grand dogs. Jerry supported the family as a lifelong employee of Northern Gas. He started in the warehouse then worked his way up to a purchasing agent when he retired in 1994. He was also a life member of the Elks Lodge. Jerry is survived by his wife, Susie; brother, Larry Lewis; sisters, Connie and Cindy; all five children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Adelyn Lewis and brother, Fred Lewis Jr. No services will be conducted for Jerry at this time. Cremation will take place. A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in honor of Jerry may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice.
