George was born in Laramie and loved being a lifelong Wyomingite. He was a wonderful brother to 3 sisters and only tied them up and forgot about them occasionally when playing cowboys. Growing up George was an excellent baseball catcher, raised steers for the FFA and enjoyed running around the neighbor hood creating just a bit of mischief with his buddies.
The Lord blessed George with the gift of ingenuity. He taught himself how to fix, or at least MacGyver, almost anything and he used this skill selflessly helping anyone he found in need. Anyone who met George could tell you he also had the gift of gab. He loved getting to know other people and all who met him left knowing there were greatly valued and respected by George. George met so many lifetime friends through participating in sports. He loved the challenge of the games and could always be counted on for some friendly competition. He especially enjoyed basketball, golf, alpine skiing, mountain biking and fishing.
Above all George was a devoted husband and family man...loving, caring, generous, great provider, teacher and servant to all. His was married to his beloved wife, Cathleen, for over 40 years. They were inseparable best friends who did EVERYTHING together, including the dishes. He was a wonderful father to Jennifer and Andrea who could count on him for unconditional love, support and guidance. Family meant everything to George and he cherished all the family holidays, celebrations and reunions he and Cathleen made it a point to get to.
George is also survived by sisters: Bonnie Miller (Royce), Linda Gordon (Woody), Anne Dick (Ray); Brothers (in-law): John Pine, Julius Pine (Lois); Aunt Mael Tael; and many precious nieces, nephews, and cousins (too numerous to list, after all we are trying to save trees) George was preceded in death by parents: James and Maimo Tucker; Grandparents: Irwin & Fannie Tucker, Eduard & Nellie Tael.
