George Wilmot Brown, age 87, passed away on December 14, 2015 surrounded by his children at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, WY. He was born July 29, 1928 in Glasgow, Montana to Sallie and Lester Brown, the oldest of three children. At a young age, the family moved to Clark, Wyoming, where he grew up. He married Dorothy "Dody" Martin Rogers on October 2, 1948 and they moved to Casper, Wyoming. He worked as a parts-man for Mayhew and Gardner Denver Supply for many years before his good friend, Angus Robertson, and he opened their own store, George Brown Supply. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy "Dody" Brown and his parents Lester and Sallie Brown. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Bickling of Casper, WY; sons Keith (Terry) Brown of Casper, WY, Loren (Amy) Brown of Casper, WY, and Gary ( Martie) Brown of Cody, WY; two sisters, Marie Larsen and Grace Brown of Billings Montana; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Many spent time with him at the Central Wyoming Hospice prior to his passing. He was cremated and requested that no services be held. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 South Wilson St., Casper, WY, 82601.
