George "Bugs" Franklin Barnhart passed from this world on May 28, 2013 at the age of 78 years young. Bugs was born in Jay Em, Wyoming on October 22, 1934 to George and Marion Barnhart. He was the youngest of 4 children. He retired from the CF&I mine in Sunrise, Wyoming. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, dancing and shooting pool. Bugs also enjoyed woodworking, tending to his yard and garden, and spending time with his nephew Mike Klipstine. Bugs was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sylvia and Loretta. He is survived by a sister, Betty Klipstine of Guernsey, Wyoming, his children: Sheri (Bryan) Lay of Wheatland, Wyoming, Kim (Christine) Barnhart of Davenport, Iowa, Kelly (Doug) Thacker of Casper, Wyoming, Bill (Lori) Barnhart of Shelton, Washington, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survive by many nieces and nephews. Per his request there will be no funeral service held, but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
