Genevieve Casey

Genevieve Casey passed away April 22, 2015 after a long illness. She was born January 2, 1922 to Elmer and Mae Hougham in Casper, WY. She attended school in Casper and graduated from NCHS in 1940. She married Richard Casey in 1947 and they were together 57 years. She was a mother and homemaker and became a very good artist. She painted many pictures and was very good at making wood designs. Genevieve was a very good cook and you could count on her having fresh cake or cookies anytime you came by. She is survived by four children, Larry (Fran )Jones of Cheyenne, Jerry (Noeleen ) Jones of Casper, Sharon (Emmitt)Delgado of Canon City, CO, and Kenneth, one sister Dolores (Dean)Ravert who was also her best friend, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Mae Hougham; her husband Richard Casey, a brother Junior Hougham and a sister Gladys Hougham. At her request donations may be made to the Casper Humane Society.
