Gary Allan Stewart 65 passed away due to a single car accident on May 28 in Casper Wyoming. He was born September 1st 1952 and raised by his loving parents Frank and Elaine Stewart, living his entire life in Casper. He graduated from NCHS, class of 1971. Gary married his lifelong love, Karen Stewart, in 1974. Together they raised two beautiful daughters. Gary gave his family his love of the outdoors, and together they enjoyed years of camping, fishing and most importantly many wonderful times at "the best place on earth": the family cabin in the Big Horn Mountains. Gary worked his adult life in the oil fields of Wyoming. He began his career working for Halliburton, Nowsco Services, and the past 21 years as an owner of CA White Wireline Services. Gary had many passions over his lifetime. One of which was his love for Golden Retrievers. Whether it be one or three alongside him, wherever he went. You were likely to see Gary riding around Casper with one of the Goldens riding shotgun. If you knew Gary you knew his love of cars, mostly Pontiac GTO's, going all the way back to his high school days. His enthusiasm and acquired knowledge for all things cars was passed down from his father Frank, an owner of Nagel Motors. One of Gary's main sources of emotional pride was his biological twin sister Gail and younger brother Mike. Even though Gail has been in Salt Lake City for 27 years she returns to Casper frequently to continue their loving relationship as brother and sister. He was a true Wyoming native with the biggest love for the outdoors. Because of that he made sure his girls and grandkids grew up loving and enjoying God's creations. Creating memories fishing and camping led to being one of the founding members of the Happy Camper Club. Gary was preceded in death by his mother Elaine and Brother Mike. Gary is survived by his wife of 43 years Karen, daughter Ashley Riddle (Mike) of Sidney, NE, daughter Brooke Haag (fiancé John Messling) of Casper, three grandchildren Reese, Reed & Landon. Father Frank of Casper and Gail Cheever (Gary) Bountiful, UT. Golden Retrievers Gunner and Gus. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Highland Park Community Church with Pastor Tami Rudkin officiating. Memorials may be made in Gary's name to the Casper Humane Society or to the donor's choice. .
