Gary Dougherty

Gary G. Dougherty was born December 2, 1940 to EuGene Leo Dougherty and Mary Arline (Smith) Dougherty in Great Falls, MT. He graduated from high school in Montana and later married the love of his life Kathy Masters on March 31, 1962. Together he and Kathy moved to Casper, WY and raised their daughter Wendy. For many years Gary was the produce manager for a few different local grocery stores. Gary enjoyed reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles, cribbage and collecting trains. Gary will be missed deeply by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Wendy (Scott) Lawrence of Casper, WY; and his grandchildren, Chris (Darcy) Dougherty, Steven Dougherty, Sara Dougherty, and Lawson Lawrence; and his sisters, Cleo Horner and Shelley Marra of Great Falls, MT. He also touched the lives of numerous nieces and nephews. Gary is greeted in heaven by his parents; and brothers, Duane Dougherty and Bob Dougherty. Memorial services for Mr. Gary G. Dougherty, 73, of Casper, WY, will be held at 2:00PM, on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Bustard's Funeral Home, with Father Robert Fox officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM also at Bustard's Funeral Home. Gary passed away September 8, 2014 surrounded by his family at his home in Casper, WY. Memorial contributions in Gary's honor may be made to Rocky Mountain Oncology.
