Freida Palmer

On February 24th, 2015 Freida R. Palmer bravely left this world to join the love of her life (& Partner in crime) in heaven. Freida was born September 28, 1940 in Livingston, MT to Margaret Kaiser and Ernest Reinhardt and attended high school at Wilsall High. On August 11, 1957 she married her partner in crime, James Reed Palmer. Together they raised three children Rod, Reeda, and Tammy in addition to running several very successful businesses including the Wilsall Bar and Cafe in Wilsall and Trusses Inc. in Casper, WY. Freida was to say the least; a very devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and took that job very seriously. She loved to travel, do a little gambling, and most of all spend time with her friends and family. Freida was a woman of unimaginable strength and bravery. She faced all obstacles head on and she faced her battle with cancer with the same unwavering dignity, bravery and strength. She also taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love. Freida would move mountains for the people she loved and we never had a doubt about how deeply she loved. Freida will forever be missed by her son Rod (Jodie) Palmer of Bar Nunn, WY, her daughters Reeda (Jeff) George of Casper, WY and Tammy Palmer of Bar Nunn as well as her grandchildren, Shannon (Benji) Uffenbeck of Anchorage, AK, Nic (Leslie) George of Sheridan, WY, Jamie Burson of Billings, MT, Sammi Palmer of Casper, WY; great-grandchildren, Annabel and Torin Uffenbeck of Anchorage, AK and Margaret Mae George of Sheridan, WY; her sister Linda (Don) Reddick of Bozeman, MT; brothers Ernest (Gayle) Reinhardt of Wilsall, MT, and Ron Reinhardt of Helena, MT as well as numerous nieces and nephews that were much loved by Freida. Freida will be greeted in heaven by her husband James Reed Palmer, her mother and father; Margaret and Ernest Reinhardt and one brother, David Reinhardt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 7th at Wilsall Community Church with Pastor Mark Danielson officiating. Interment will take place at Wilsall Cemetery. A reception will be held at Shields River Senior Center. We will be hosting a remembrance celebration at the fireside in Casper on March 11th at 5:30PM. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Central Wyoming Hospice and their staff of Angles 319 S. Wilson St., Casper, WY 82601 would be deeply appreciated. Bustard's Funeral Home and Franzen-Davis Funeral Home are assisting the family with arrangements.
