Freda Hoffman

October 20, 1919 — November 19, 2012

Freda Mae Fleming Hoffman passed to the opened arms that passed before her. She was born October 20, 1919 to Hardy and Jenny (Ingold) Colson of Perkins County, Nebraska. In 1942 she married Kermit P. Fleming in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. They moved to Casper in 1947 and then moved to Riverton in 1959 until returning to Casper in 1967. He passed in 1977. In 1984 she remarried her high school sweetheart Leslie Hoffman of Grant, Nebraska and moved to Grant. She returned to Casper after the passing of Leslie to be nearer to family. She is survived by her children, Ken (Judy) Fleming of Bellingham, WA, Rhonda (Cal) Chadsey of Casper, and Hardy (Jan) Fleming of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, November 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Bustard's Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Fred and Joan Carr Nursing Scholarship at Casper College or to the donor's charity of choice.
