After a short illness, Frank Muratore, age 92, passed away at home on February 5, 2017. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He served with the Fifth Army in Europe during World War II, was wounded in action, and was honorably discharged as a TEC 4 sergeant. Because of his love of hunting and fishing, he moved his wife and children to Casper, Wyoming in 1963 where he became a successful businessman. He was an avid photographer, loved his ranch near Casper, his horses and the great outdoors. He will be remembered for his hard-working, tough and independent spirit. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jeanette, his parents and 7 siblings. He is survived by his children, sons Joseph (Kendra) Muratore, Jeffrey (Kathy) Muratore and Robert (Jinnam) Muratore, and daughter Karen (Ron) Muratore, grandchildren Kerry (Sean) Lovelace, Amy and Lindsey Muratore, Allen and Jonathan Aker, Amanda and Mark Muratore, 7 great grandchildren, and his sister Zephie Ferrara of New Jersey. Services will be held on Friday, February 10th at 2:00pm at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Natrona County Meals on Wheels.
