Frances Palmer Noble Chynoweth, 81, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on June 11, 2023 in her home in Casper, Wyoming.
Fran was born in Columbus, Ohio to Francis Pierce Noble III & Barbara Elizabeth Davis on March 14, 1942. She was raised in Texarkana, Texas along with her brother Francis “Sandy” Pierce Noble IV.
She graduated from Centinary College of Louisiana in 1965 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education.
She married her eternal sweetheart, Robert Chynoweth, on Jan. 24, 1965 in Texarkana, Texas. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on July 23, 1970.
She lovingly raised six children and mothered numerous other children who came into her life, over the many years. She was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1968 where she found the path to Christ for which she had been looking. With great joy she walked the path the rest of her life. Her path included serving other people in various opportunities in the church and community and she developed lifelong loving relationships with those to whom she ministered. Many who knew her felt loved, comfortable around her, welcomed, accepted for who they were, and directed towards Christ.
She loved working on family history and spent fifty-five years researching information for the family ancestors. She felt a personal loving relationship with many of these ancestors and we feel they are rejoicing with her now. The path included developing the talent of portraying the Lord’s creations on canvas, as reflected in the watermarks of the written program for her funeral. Along the path, she learned the eternal importance of family and friends and they became her passion and her priority. Fran loved our Savior, Jesus Christ, and throughout her life she diligently strove to emulate Him in word and deed. The path included serving Christ with her eternal companion on a full-time mission and in the temple. Because she followed the path, the Lord blessed her in many ways and she became a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, cousin, Donna McKay, daughter-in-law, Traci Chynoweth, daughter-in-law, Erin Mitchell, and grandson, Joshua Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, her brother, Sandy (Julie) Noble, her cousin Frank “Sonny” (Barby) McKay, her cousin Jim (Ellen) Rein, and her six children, Janet Noble, Rob (Kari) Chynoweth, Matt (Brooke) Chynoweth, Martha (Chad) Heward, Amy (Dave) Mitchell, and Ann (Dan) Morgan. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In honor of her love for family history, we know she would want us to list all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren individually because she loved each one individually. Her grandchildren are: Pierce (Rachel) Noble, Amber Wilson, Kayla Watson, Robert J. Chynoweth, Tamzin (Jonathon) Bryan, Brooke Watson, Eden Chynoweth, Esther Chynoweth, Emerson Chynoweth, Mark Heward, Robert Heward, Emily (Sam) Meyer, Benjamin (Meredith) Mitchell, Adam Mitchell, Laura Mitchell, Afton Mitchell, Kathleen (Jason) Torrie, Joshua Morgan, Kelsie (Josh) Peterson, Kyrstin (Steven) Pugh, Caleb Morgan, Andrew Morgan, Kathryn Morgan, and Nathanael Morgan.
