Floyd W. (Butch) Hutsell, Jr., 56, went to be with his Lord September 3, 2010 at Wyoming Medical Center. Butch's life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Faith Bible Chapel with Pastor Dale Fitzsimmons officiating. Cremation has been held under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home. Butch was born in Casper, Wyoming to Ruth (Lowery) Hutsell and Floyd Hutsell, Sr. He lived his entire life in Casper, Wyoming. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1972. On June 18, 1976 he married LaVonne Waddell. They had two sons, Beau and Rocky. They later divorced. On October 30, 1993 Butch married the love of his life, Carol Jean Dickey Palmer. They had 16 wonderful, precious years together. He worked in the family grocery business, Hutsell's Pay ‘n' Save for many years. Butch and his brother-in-law purchased the store from his parents and ran it for several years until closing it in the early 80's. After which, he worked several jobs in Casper and Denver, Colorado, in the general construction area. He loved to be with his family, especially family camping trips to the Big Horns. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loving the outdoors. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved his dogs, Red and Scooter. He had many close friends who will miss him so much. His heart was as big as he was and he would help everyone who needed help. He especially enjoyed helping out his friend Carl Nelson at his business Nelico. Butch is survived by his wife, Carol, his parents, Ruth and Floyd Hutsell of Mills, sisters Janet Barrett of Mills, Kathy Waddell of Casper, sons Beau and his wife Michelle and children Karlin, Raymond and Grace of Hobbs, NM, Rocky and his wife Kristin and children, Kane, Jordan and Ivory of Casper, his step children Brent Palmer of Minneapolis, MN, Teressa Palmer of St. Paul, MN, Glenda Hicks and Darrell Palmer of Casper and 12 step grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Hutsell and his grandparents, Warner and Maudie Hutsell. Memorials to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
