Floyd Leon Bynum was born in Casper, WY September 23rd, 1956 to Virgil and Harriet Bynum. He was the fifth child of eight children. Floyd passed away peacefully February 18th, 2016 at the Wyoming Medical Center after battling a long time illness. Services for Floyd will be February 27th, 2016 at 2pm at the Rock of Ages by Rev. Mark Lewis. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Cedric. He graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1974 and went on to spend some time at the University of Wyoming where he was a part of the UW track team. Floyd was a devoted father who would do anything for his children. He enjoyed sports. He played basketball and football in high school and continued to play basketball as a hobby. He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, fishing, and listening to talk radio. Floyd enjoyed traveling around the country so much he chose to drive trucks for living, working for Nabisco, Central Trucking, and lastly Federal Express. He liked the open road that he received being a highway trucker. Floyd Leon Bynum leaves to uphold is memory, his children Jevon Bynum of Casper, WY, Keena Bynum of Casper, WY, Danisha Bynum of Casper, WY, Xavier Bynum of Casper, WY and Zari Bynum of Plant City FL; brothers Mike Bynum (Pat), Keith Bynum, Mitchell Bynum, and Darrell Bynum all of Casper, WY Rodney Bynum of Seattle, WA; and sister Mary Lindsey (Larry) of Seattle, WA. Floyd has four grandchildren Brayden Bynum, Gyzelle Bynum, Jajuan Bynum, and TayShaun Bynum and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
