On November 23, 2014 Everett L. Wing died at the age of 91 years. He was born in Edgemont, South Dakota on October 19, 1923. Everett was the youngest of nine children. He was affectingly known as "Babe" and "Gramps" to family and friends. He married his high School sweetheart Virginia, April first in 1943. They shared seventy-one wonderful years together. From 1943-1946 he served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 101st airborne. Everett started his career in the oil field in 1946 through 1960. His work took him from Wyoming to Texas before settling in Casper. Upon moving to Casper, he was a partner in the Culverts Industrial Supply Company for over twenty years. After selling the company, he worked in commercial real estate for several years until retirement. He had many hobbies, created a lot of family treasures and loved learning new things. His wife of 71 years, Virginia, survives him. They have (4) children. Sam, Jon (wife Joan), Beth (husband Jim), and Robin. They have six Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was generous, kind, fun, and loving to all who came in contact with him. We will miss him. Services and Internment will be held at a later date.
