Everett Schanck

Everett C. Schanck, Sr. passed November 8, 2019 at age 95. Services will be officiated at Christ United Methodist Church on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

Everett was born in Millville New Jersey on December 19, 1923. With the outbreak of WWII, he enlisted and served in the Army Air Corp.

One of Everett's postings was the Air Force base in Casper. It was there that he met the love of his life, Margaret Brock. Following the war, he returned to Casper to take his future bride back to New Jersey to meet his family.

Everett and Margaret married January 10, 1946 and returned to Casper to make their home and raise three children, Everett, Jr. (Butch), Norman and Karen. Everett enjoyed 68 wonderful years of marriage prior to Margaret's death.

As a son of a er, Everett found work at the Casper Tribune where he worked from the 1950s until his first retirement. Finding retirement did not suit him, he went to work for Hilltop National bank for several years when he once again tried retirement. Still not suited for retirement he went to work for Walmart (twice).

Everett is survived by his son, Norman (Lynn), daughter, Karen (Bill), 8 grand children, 16 greatgrandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his spouse,(Margaret) and son (Butch) and daughter-in-law (Jo Ann).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
