Euphie Baker

Euphie Mae Baker, 93, of Casper passed away at Central Wyoming Hospice on Saturday, March 09, 2013, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, with family by her side. Euphie was born December 10, 1919 in Baker Montana to Glen and Bessie Stark. At the age of 20 she met and married the love of her life, Donald Baker. They moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1946 for work and raised four children. She spent most of her life working in retail. She loved people and her home was always open to everyone. She is survived by her son, Danny Baker (Ann); daughter, Linda Parkinson (Philip) and son, John Baker (Lynn); sister, Cleo Kirkpatrick; sister, Grace Domagala; brother, Donald Stark (Marlene). She is also survived by15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Baker; her parents; son, Allen Baker; two sisters, Lorene Wiseman and Helen Olsen; three brothers, Fred Stark, Ed Stark and Glen Stark and great grandson, Jeremy Jones. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 1922 Poplar Street, Casper, WY with Bishop Kendall Jacobs officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, immediately followed by a reception in her honor at the LDS church, open to all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor at Central Wyoming Hospice or The Alzheimer's Association of Casper, WY.
