Erma Smith

Erma Faye Smith passed away on February 20, 2017 at Wyoming Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Bustard's Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at Highland Cemetery. Erma was born on July 12, 1931 in Wagner, South Dakota to Walter Ross Pigsley and Carrie Abdella. Her mom, Carrie was a descendant of Indian Chief Running Bull of the Yankton Sioux tribe. Erma attended the Haskell Indian School to study nursing. Erma enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo at Hilltop. On July 17, 1962 Erma married William E. Smith in Lincoln, Nebraska. She is survived by six children: Toni Nation, Roberta Marvel, Jay G. Nation, Rodney Nation, Delores Elmore all of Casper and Bruce Smith of Lehi, Utah. Erma is preceded in death by her husband William Smith and her daughter, Johnnie Nation.
