Erma Nickerson

Erma Jean Nickerson was born June 14, 1936 to Lorraine and Veko Matilianen in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She passed away peacefully with all of her family by her side on March 10, 2013. She was a loving mother, wife, and a dear friend to all who knew her. Erma enjoyed golf, gardening and family gatherings. She loved to laugh and have fun! Erma married Nick Nickerson on June 19, 1954 in Eden Valley Wyoming. They were married fifty eight years and raised four children in Casper, Wyoming. She is survived by her husband, Nick; two sisters, Charlotte Shine and Fern Skorcz; her children, Dennie and Tom Doyle, Dixie and Dave Lysohir, Dan Nickerson and Donna and Peter Raketich; nine grandchildren and seven great grand-dogs. The service will be conducted Wednesday, March 13 at 11:00 AM at Bustard's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
