Eric W. Kirby

Eric Warren Kirby, age 61, passed away at his home in Mills, WY on Aug. 20, 2023. He was born in Casper, WY to Dick and Helen Kirby on June 29, 1962.

During his school years, he attended Westwood Elementary, CY Junior High and graduated from NCHS in 1980. He worked for a number of companies in the area including Cenatco, Quality Petroleum, Miswaco, Double D Welding, and most recently, Marbros, as a pilot car driver.

Eric enjoyed camping and travel, but his greatest joy was helping others, no matter the situation. However, his help didn’t come with a cost, because he also enjoyed just sitting around and “shooting the bull”.

He is survived by his sisters, Liz (Chuck) Tholl and Machelle Kirby; brother, Bill (Patti) Kirby; sister-in-law, Carla Kirby; and numerous nieces, nephews and furry friends.

Preceding him to heaven are his parents, Dick and Helen; brother, Mike J. Kirby; and nephew, Mike S. Kirby.

Family and friends will be gathering together Sept. 16, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the south end of Nancy English Park. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided, but please bring a chair and any refreshments.
