Elvin Willis Stamp of Casper, Wyoming No memorial services will be held at his request. Cremation has taken place. He died on May 31, 2019 in Casper, Wyoming. Elvin was born on December 29, 1931 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was the son of Emmett and Lila (Butterfield) Stamp. He lived on a dry farm at O'Neill, Nebraska. At the age of 13, he rode a train and rented a one stall Garage for $7.50 a month. The garage was across the street from the Riverside Club. He worked for Wyoming Ranchers and broke many horses to ride. He then enlisted in the Army in 1950 and was stationed at Fort Ord, California. At Fort Ord, he was a member of the boxing team. He went to Camp Carson, Colorado, to 35th Quarter Master Mule Pack and later spent 16 months in Korea, where he was awarded 2 bronze stars and one good conduct medal. He won many contests with M1 and carbine rifles. Elvin was discharged in 1953 with rank of first sergeant. After returning to Casper, he became a self taught carpenter and owned 42 rental units in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. In 1990 he purchased a ranch at O'Neill, Nebraska. In 1995 he married Rizalina Naldoza and they moved to the Philippines in 2000, where they built a hog farm, had a rice farm, and started a bus service, which his wife's family still runs. He is survived by his wife, Rizalina, and no other survivors.
