ELSIE R. GILSTRAP

Elsie Ruth Gilstrap, 95, passed away peacefully to a heavenly home on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Casper.
Elsie was born to Elijah and Elizabeth Browning of Hamilton, Ohio on May 7th, 1928. She married Charles E. Gilstrap in 1947 in Covington, KY, and then moved to Casper.
Elsie and her husband Charlie, a Navy Veteran, were active and supporting members of the Shriners Foundation and activities. They enjoyed camping and boating with their family and friends. They loved being with their grandchildren and were supportive in the lives of their children, their grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Gilstrap; her son Carl "Corky" Gilstrap; her grandsons Brandon Scott Crimm and Michael Todd Crimm; Sisters, Juanita and Redetta, Brothers, Harold, Frank, and Clyde.
Surviving her include her daughter, Donna Culbertson (Richard), daughter in law, Debbie Gilstrap; and special friend, Larry Crimm. Surviving grandchildren include Sherry Crimm, Ashley Gilstrap, Natalie Hede, and Carla. Surviving Great Grandchildren include Joshua Crimm, Isaiah Elston, Britney Crimm, Brandon Wilson and great great grandchild, Delilah.
Elsie is also survived by many nephews, nieces and lots of other long-time friends and extended family.
At Elsie's request, there will be no funeral service. Burial Arrangements with her husband are with Bustard & Jacoby (bustardcares.com).
