Elizabeth (Lisa) Regina Short Morgan started her adventure in life on November 30th, 1965 in Casper, the youngest child of Bill and Kate Short. It was realized by all, that at a young age Lisa had a zest for life and all it would behold. She was the star of the show everywhere she went and she thrived on it. Growing up, she knew no strangers and went out of her way to ensure nobody was forgotten. Her big heart and love for others persuaded her to be the voice for those whose voice was small and unheard, many times advocating on the behalf of others. Lisa had a knack for being the life of the party, which combined with her charisma, drew people to her. Lisa was the proud mother of Buddy Morgan, 31, Angela Morgan 29, and Brandon Morgan, 21, and proud grandmother of Brooklynn Gebhardt, 10. Lisa fought her illnesses courageously and with intense vigor for the better part of the last 13 years with her mother, Kate, by her side. Her battle came to a peaceful end with her mother by her side on Sunday October 4th at 8:00 am. Lisa was preceded in death by her daddy, Bill Short, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Kate Short, sister, Diane Collins, brothers Jeff Short, Robert Short and James Short and children, Buddy Morgan, Angela Morgan, Brandon Morgan and granddaughter Brooklynn Gebhardt, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral mass for Lisa is planned for 11:00AM, Thursday, October 8th, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 with Rosary beginning at 6:00 also at St. Louis Catholic Church. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Central Wyoming Hospice. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the angels who work at hospice and their service to not only to Lisa in her final days, but also for all they did for our family as well. When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles stand between us. It means that when we meet again, you will know me. It means that after I die, you can see my face and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart. For as long as you remember me, I am never truly lost.
