Elise Johnson

Elise (Eli) Marie Johnson was born June 3rd, 2005 in Logan, Utah and passed away in a tragic skiing accident December 24th, 2010 at the age of 5. She was a beautiful, strong, active baby who grew into a beautiful and vibrant little girl. Elise spread sunshine and happiness wherever she went. She loved music and would always sing and dance with her sister, mommy, and daddy to her favorite songs. She loved her family and friends in a sweet, gentle way. She expressed her love to all those around her through her precious smiles, laughter, hugs and kisses. Words cannot describe the love, beauty, and special spirit that radiated from her. She was very sensitive and loving, just like her mother, crying at times just to explain rather trivial matters. She was very athletic for her age and loved to ski, play soccer, jump on the trampoline and bounce around the house. She had many great friends including her cousins, friends from primary class at church, and schoolmates. However her best friend was always her little sister Milli. The two were inseparable whether they were quarreling over a toy or hugging each other and playing together. The laughter and giggles that came from both of them brought indescribable joy to our home. Elise, you will be missed beyond imagination. You touched the lives of so many people for good in 5 short years that might have taken others a lifetime to accomplish. Till we meet again in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Elise is survived by her parents Chauncy and Kelli Johnson, sister Kamilla (Milli) Johnson, and brother Logan Johnson of Casper, Wyoming; her grandparents Brian and Rita Johnson of Soda Springs, Idaho; and Garry and Joan Hoffmann of Sheridan, Wyoming. The funeral services for Elise will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3931 W 45th Street, Casper, Wyoming, Tuesday January 4th, 2011 at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be held at the Burlington Cemetery in Burlington, Wyoming Wednesday January 5th, 2011 at 12:00 pm.
