Edward Earl Schultz

Edward Earl Schultz, 76 of Casper, WY passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Ed was born on September 7, 1947 in L'Anse, MI to the late Earl and Lucille (McKindles) Schultz.  He is survived by his children Joe Schultz of Jackson Hole, WY Julie Schultz of L'Anse, MI and Angie (Le) Crandall of Quinnesec, MI. Grandchildren Anthony Crandall, Bryce, Makenna, and Madelyn Crawford. Siblings Barbara Bertz, Mary Fran (Tom) Menge, David (Jill) Schultz, Gigi Schultz, Kathleen Danhieux, and Christine Schultz. Many nieces, nephews, and close friend Gary Wattis. And his fur baby Egor. 

In Ed's younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ed graduated from L'Anse High School, after graduation he joined the Navy where he was a Corpsman 3rd class Petty Officer. Ed proudly served his country during the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart. Ed received a Presidential Citation from President Bill Clinton for his heroism in saving the lives of a woman and her infant child in a drowning accident. Ed was an avid pool player and played on many leagues throughout his years.

Ed is proceeded in death by his parents Earl and Lucille Schultz,  brothers James Schultz and Peter Schultz.

There will be a service of Military Honors on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 9 am at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, 80 Veterans Dr, Evansville, WY 82636.
