Edward E. Harris, 58, of Mills, died May 21, 2014. He was born to Clinton E. Harris, Sr. and Marjorie F. Bain on November 22, 1955 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Services will be held May 24, 2014 at 11:00am, at Mountainn View Baptist Church with Buddy Hansen officiating. He was raised in Thermopolis, Wyoming. he attended Lucerne Elementary and Hot Springs County High School. During his schooling years he received several athletic awards. After completing school he worked in the Uranium Mines in Shirley Basin and in the oil fields around Wyoming. Some of his greatest accomplishments were being a member of the "REACT" team, volunteer at the Salvation Army, and coaching his daughters in basketball. Not only was he an "Awesome" papa to his three grandchildren, amazing father to his three grandchildren, amazing father to his two children, loving husband to his wife of forty years, he was a father figure to his young siblings. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Harris of Casper; daughter, Heidi Harris-Bucholz (Dennis) of Torrington, and Eddie Harris of Casper; grandchildren, Eddie Martin-Kirby (Jeff), and Jessie Martin all of Casper. He is also survived by the three brothers, Clint Harris (Diana) of Thermopolis, John Harris of Scottsdale, AZ, Rob Mehalek (Barbara) of Thermopolis; and four sisters, Barbara Croom (Steve)of Phoenix, AZ, Janet Price (Jerry) of Salt Lake City, UT, Karlla Mehalek of Evansville, and Karon Martin of Riverton. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorials can be made in his honor to the MS Society or the Barbara Davis Center for Type 1 Diabetes.
