Edward L. Bowdish, 80, passed away on August 16, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming. He was born on September 26, 1937 in Morrill, Nebraska to Craig Bowdish and Elmira Lantis. He was from a large family of 11 children and grew up in Wheatland, WY. He learned the value of hard work as a ranch hand. After his marriage to Lenore King, in 1955, they travelled throughout Wyoming and the West with construction work. On September 19, 1988 he married Ramona Tamayo in Casper. He drove truck before settling into his chosen 34-year profession and career as a diesel mechanic. Throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading, snowmobiling and camping. He was a great father who loved all of his children. Edward joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1996 and served others faithfully in his quiet, humble way. He was loved member of Casper LDS 5th Ward Family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wives, Lenora and Juanita; and his daughter, Ronda. He is survived by his wife Ramona; children: Lana, Donna, David and Elaina; step-children: Carolyn, Charlet, Christina, Connie, Chandra, and Michael as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2627 East 7th Street in Casper with Bishop Sundquist officiating.
