Edith M. Clabaugh, 80, died March 26, 2024 at Casper Mountain Rehabilitation and Care Center in Casper, Wyoming and cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held for friends and family at a later date.
Edith was born December 5, 1943, in Torrington, Wyoming, the daughter of Henry Charles and Phoebe Grace (Kinner) Lampman. She attended school in Fort Laramie, Wyoming. Edith worked with her family at the Fort Laramie Café. She later worked at the Blue Lantern Motel in Torrington. She met and married Leonard Leon Clabaugh in Torrington on August 10, 1968. The couple resided in San Diego, CA, Souix Falls, SD, and then Torrington WY.
Edith was a member of the Nazarene Church where she loved inviting and welcoming one and all. Edith enjoyed hymns and Western music, teapots, stuffed animals, and The Golden Girls. She was sweet, kind, and loving and never knew a stranger. She gave great hugs, and you always knew she genuinely loved you.
Survivors include her son Don (Marie) Clabaugh of Kansas City, MO; son Terry (Tiffany) Clabaugh of Casper, WY; grandson Michael Clabaugh and granddaughter Riley Clabaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; her brother Charles Lampman; and her sisters, MaryLu Gawith, Henrietta Muller, Guelda Mastrude, Alice Davis, Dorothy Hickman and her beloved son Eric Clabaugh.
