Dorothy St John passed away on Monday October 17, 2011 after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 10, 1929 to Rasmus and Etta Coyle Christiansen in Mills, Wy where she lived her entire life. In 1946 she married Robert E. St John and had 3 children, Norma, Bobby and Dale. She enjoyed outdoor activities - riding her Indian motorcycle, rock hunting, fishing, making jewelry, woodworking, sewing, and crocheting. She was a Cub Scout leader. She served on the Mills City Council. She enjoyed being with family and friends and spending time with her companion, Gene Carson and his daughter, Susie. She is survived by her children: Norma Good - Casper, Bob St John (Linda) - Riverton, Dale St John (Georgia) - Casper, Sister Melda Leimback - Casper, Sister-in-laws: Noma Johnson (Dennis) - Colorado Springs, Jeannie Portlock - Riverton, Kay Michael - Missouri, Grandchildren: Sheila Casey (Ken), Cheryl Pigg, Chad St John (Danielle), Jim Good (Dana)- All from Riverton, Lori Roth (Tony), Deanna Hill, Jacob Cartier - All from Casper, Lorna Ward (Curtis) - Seattle; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers - Earl and Carl, sisters - Emily and Mildred, Sister-in-laws - Patsy, Betty, Marjorie, Elaine, Lucille; Brother-in-laws - Harry Leimback, Don Brow, JC Portlock; Son-in-law - Marvin Good; Granddaughter - Jackie St John; Companion - Gene Carson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions. A celebration of life will be held Saturday Oct 22, 2011 @ 2pm in the old Mills Fire Hall, corner of 4th & Wasatch Mills, Wy. Please bring a covered dish to share.
