Memorial services for Dorothy Ellen Beyer Irwin will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Keith Evans and Doug Neubert officiating. She passed away at Wyoming Medical Center on Thursday, July, 16, 2015. Bustard's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for her cremation. She was born August 25,1930 in Minatare, NE to Merlin E. Beyer and Marguerite E. (Applegate) Beyer. The family moved to Casper in 1935. She attended Jefferson School and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1947. She married John L. Irwin Jr. in 1947 and they had four sons. They were later divorced. She worked for Western National Bank and retired from Pacific Power & Light Company in 1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Casper. She enjoyed flowers, working in her beautiful yard for many years, sewing, crocheting, and traveling. She very much loved spending time with her family. She was famous for supplying her family with delicious homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, pies, and burritos. She was very generous and always willing to help anyone in need. Survivors include her four sons, John L. Irwin III (DeNeil) of Phoenix, AZ, Jimmie Stephen Irwin (Diane) of Casper, Robin Lee Irwin (Pam) of Casper, Leon Wayne Irwin of Phillipsburg, Kansas; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and three brothers, Kenneth Beyer, Ross Beyer, and Dean Beyer. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Casper, WY or donors choice.
