Dorothy Hunzicker

Dorothy E. Hunzicker, 98, of Guernsey, WY, passed away on November 14, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, WY. Dorothy was born on December 27, 1917 in Rushville, NE. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rushville. Dorothy wed John W. Hunzicker in 1940. They were blessed with three children: Judie R. Waters of Waseca, MN, Joey K. Brecht of Gillette, WY and John J. (Etta) Hunzicker of Casper, WY. Grandchildren are Gwendi Rietz of Casper, Brett J. Waters of Fennville, MI, Cary Poledna of Lander, WY. Great-Grandchildren include Benjamin and Caroline Waters of Fenneville, Danielle Z. and Torey H. of Casper, Alex, Braeley and Klaycee Poledna of Lander. Dorothy was a long time resident of who was well known for her cinnamon rolls, apple pies, walks about town, and her hours of counted cross stitch. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wheatland, WY. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Bingham Cemetery in Bingham, NE.
