Dorothy Kay George (82 years old)

  We are sad to announce the passing of Dorothy Kay George, she died Apr 22, 2023 at 8:54am, at home surrounded by her family in Casper, Wyoming. 

  A native of Basin, Wyoming, she was born April 9, 1941, the daughter of George and Adeline Ingalls, graduating from Basin High School. 

  Dorothy was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She always said her grandchildren brought sunshine to her life. She loved to take walks and have picnics down by the creek, go on adventures, host the ultimate nerf gun wars, watch all sports her grandchildren participated in and was excited for glitter and bows with her great granddaughters.  Dorothy loved playing bridge and other card games with her friends.

  She is survived by her three children, Kimberle Latka of Casper, Jean Luers (Dan) of Casper, Jeffrey George (Marcee) of Casper, a brother James Ingalls (Anita) and several nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren Nicole Oyloe (Preston), Eric Latka (Michelle), Jessica Wells (Zach), Sidney Burnett (Karson), Austin Luers (Mackenzie) Jhett George and Jace George all from Casper. Her great grandchildren Maddux Dundas, Colter Latka, Blakely Burnett, Raegan Latka, Fynnlee Wells and Lainey Luers. 

  She is preceded in death by her parents George and Adeline Ingalls.

  Memorial donations may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, 319 S Wilson Street, Casper, WY, in her honor. They helped make her last days with us pain free and peaceful, with time to say our goodbyes.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home. Tami Rudkin will officiate. A reception will follow in Bustard's Reception Center.
