Dorothy Brown

Dorothy (Dody) Marie Brown, age 85, passed away on April 2, 2015 in Casper. She was born May 25, 1929 in Red Lodge, Montana to Cecile (Ewing) and John Martin. Her Dad passed away early in her life and she was raised by Charles Rogers and Cecile. She graduated from Natrona County High in Casper in 1947. She married George Brown on October 2, 1948 and was a devoted loving wife and mother of 4 children. She dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and staying in contact with her family and friends on the computer. She also enjoyed water aerobics and socializing with her friends, especially Mena, at Lifetime. She was preceded in death by her parents John Martin, Cecile (Ewing) Martin Rogers and Charles Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 66 years George Brown, daughter Cheryl Bickling of Casper WY, sons Keith (Terry) Brown of Casper WY, Loren (Amy) Brown of Casper W, Gary (Martie) Brown of Cody WY, brother Ronald (Patrica) Rogers of Buelton CA, sister Barbara Ross of Evansville, sister in-laws Marie Larson and Grace Brown of Billings, MT, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was cremated and requested that no services be held. In lieu in flowers she asked that donations be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 South Wilson St., Casper, WY 82601.
